Fior is the current Free Food Pantry Coordinator at Common Ground Relief, a role they recently took on after volunteering at the pantry for several months. Fior also works with the Louisiana Outdoors Outreach Program based in City Park, leading experiential education programs focusing on wetland ecologies and ateam-building. Fior believes that food security is an integral part of environmental justice, and fights climate catastrophe by serving their community to create accessible networks of nutrition. Fior is a freelance multimedia artist with a sculptural background working in video and sound design, meshing field recordings and interviews to question how we perceive time in a moment of environmental collapse.
