Aloe Lee
Aloe Lee is a country girl who grew up to be a botanist, and now works in the wetlands ecology field restoring Lousiana's eroding coastline.

Child of the deep south, Aloe's specialties are in Gullah Geechee ethnobotany, plant collections, and landscape horticulture. After over a decade dedicated to botany, she has expanded her research into wetlands ecology. As CGR's Ecological Restoration Specialist, she manages the native plant nursery, leads all environmental programs, and studies Louisiana's waterways and land loss from a more tangible lens through many restoration projects throughout the southeast. Outside of her role with CGR, Aloe is in the inaugural cohort for the Coastal Leadership Institute with CRCL, and the first Sustainability Coordinator for the New Orleans Film Festival. When she's not in work-mode, Aloe indulges in music and film, road trips, and family time with her dog (son), Bubby Baldwin, and her partner, Mo.
