Join local artist and nature enthusiast, Annie Moran, for a fun and educational workshop at CGR
Service Description
Learn the basics of watercolor painting, along with landscape painting tips and techniques, while enjoying nature. Your workshop fee will support growing vegetable starts in the new greenhouse to distribute at CGR’S Free Pantry & utilization of native plants in independent restoration projects. What to expect: General properties and some basic techniques specific to the watercolor medium will be practiced Simple foundations for landscape painting in watercolor will be covered Annie will demonstrate some basic techniques for clouds, grass, water, and trees Participants will choose a view inside the nursery and practice their own paintings en plein air Annie will provide personalized feedback for each participant All supplies will be provided Light refreshments will be served Ample street parking available at 1501 Jourdan Ave Wheelchair accessible Bathroom access at 1800 Deslonde St (3 blocks away) Water fountain available on site Bug spray, sunscreen, first aid is provided Close-toed shoes and sun protection like a hat is recommended
