Treehouse Records 7th Anniversary Party

FOR IMMEDIATE ATTENTION!

The final lineup has been pretty much set for the Treehouse Records 7th Anniversary Party on Friday, April 4th, at the Turf Club in St. Paul. Performing at this year's benefit concert will be MICHAEL YONKERS, PAUL METZGER, THE HYPSTRZ (with special guest BUZZ BARKER), VAMPIRE HANDS and CHOOGLIN'.

This will be a fund-raising endeavor to benefit Common Ground Relief's various community projects located in the poorest & most devastated areas of New Orleans. ALL proceeds from this event will be donated to Common Ground.

Advance tickets are $8 and will be available soon at Treehouse Records. Tickets day of show at the door will be $10.

We are very excited about the lineup this year. We are even MORE pleased that these bands are helping Treehouse Records to try to rebuild a city which we--unlike the current administration--dearly love with all of our hearts. Despite what certain people would like to have you believe, things are still a major mess in the Crescent City. The New Orleans that the national media shows you on Bourbon Street and at the Superdome might be back to something approaching "business as usual," but for the longtime residents of this city—some of whose family histories stretch back for one or two centuries—living in New Orleans is a major struggle at best or--as is the case for far too many families--a fiscal impossibility.
