Some of What we've done
- Assembled 50+ computers with open source operating systems from parts
- Setup laptop computers for common ground organizers
- Provided technical and software support to the computer labs, media, administrative, and legal offices at the House of Excellence now at 215 N. Jefferson Davis Parkway
- Setup and maintained office labs at Kone's office, Sharon's, the administrative offices at the Woodlands, St. Mary's and the Lighthouse
- Troubleshot computer and other technical problems for organizers, volunteers and residents, in addition to providing continuous technical support through our tech support hotline
- Setup other local activist organizations with computers; food and farm network, critical resistance, and other groups
- Setup 5 free voip internet phones in the House of Excellence and St. Mary's.

Some things we are in the process of doing
- Setting up a project communication online database for common ground collective
- Teaching introductory computer literacy classes at the house of excellence
- Setting up a system where computers are available to residents through volunteering and/or sliding scale donations
- Setting up free VOIP phones at all of the common ground sites with broadband internet access Our long-term vision
- Setting up the infrastructure to provide long-term technical and software support to the recipients of donated computers
- Setup open source computer labs throughout the city while installing Microsoft programs on our own machines.
- Setup an open source collaborative web site for residents of New Orleans
- Setup full wireless network access at the woodlands housing project
- Reestablish the city-wide New Orleans Mesh Network
